Come out to audition for one of our
plays. Rehearsal schedules vary for each production,
but usually run Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays for
two months before the play opens. There are usually
eight shows on three consecutive
weekends.
Humble Boy Auditions
Auditions for our spring production of
Humble Boy by Charlotte Jones
(Performance Dates May 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, 17)
will be held at The Garstin Centre for the Arts
on February 24 at 1 p.m. and February 25 at 7 p.m.
Callbacks on February 27 at 7 p.m.
The cast calls for:
Felix - male 35 plumpish (lead)
Mercy - female 55 mousy
Jim - male 60’s quiet, intelligent
George - male 60ish beefy
Flora - Felix’s mother, goodlooking older woman
Rosie - early 30’s healthy but plain
"A comedy about broken vows, failed hopes and the joys of
bee keeping. Thirty five year old Felix Humble is a
Cambridge astrophysicist in search of a unified field theory.
Following the sudden death of his father, Felix returns home
to spend some time with his difficult and demanding mother.
He soon realizes that his search for cosmic unity must be
expanded to reconcile his own chaotic life..."
