1785. A United Empire Loyalist family that has fled from Boston to Canadas is joined by two other veterans and a stanger whom they assume is a former Loyalist soldier.
However, things are not all as they seem. As the night progresses, hostages are taken at gunpoint and given until dawn to choose one person for execution.
First performed by the Statford Festival in 1993, Fair Liberty's Call has since been frequently produced across North America. Sharon Pollock, twice winner of the Governor General's Award, has remained, for more than a generation, one of Canada's leading dramatists....
